2022 NCAA Pick'em Week 8: Maryland Tops UVA

That's right, you saw it in the captions. UMD took down UVA in the 2021 Championship Rematch over the weekend. Maryland put on a strong performance in all aspects of the game offense, defense, goal tending, and face offs. I fully expect to see these two battle it out again on Memorial day weekend either in the Final 4 or the Championship depending on how the bracket shakes out!

Taking a look at this weekends score board, un-ranked Lehigh took down #10 Army, #19 Harvard upset previous #13 Brown, #3 Cornell outlasted #11 Yale 13-12, and #4 Princeton outscored #6 Penn 21-20 in an OT thriller. 41 total goals!?! Are you not entertained!?!?! Sunday's slate saw UNC taking the road for the first time this year and beating High Point. Week 8 and it's your first road game? Sign me up for that Schedule. Delaware with the upset over Hopkins and Denver taking down #7 Ohio State.

Pick'em Top 5:

1. Jeffery Strazzere: 198

2. Riley Bissett: 196

3. Griffin Ackley: 194

4. Joe O'C: 194

5. Charles Roe: 194

Looks like we have a tight race at the top of the leader board, make sure to get your picks in weekly as every game is worth a point!

Week 9 gets started off tonight at 7pm with a inner state match up as #14 Boston takes #19 Harvard. Moving to Saturday where #11 Yale battles #4 Priceton and #6 Penn takes on #3 Cornell. Don't sleep on the Ivy league this year. People may have forgotten about them as they did not compete last season but this year it looks like they are all top teams in the Country with the ability to put up a lot of points. Big time Big Ten game on Saturday as #8 Rutgers looks to upset #7 Ohio State. Lastly, my game to watch on Saturday is a Patriot league match up with Loyola traveling to take on #10 Army.

There is only one match up on Sunday and its a big time Big Ten match up as the Terps look to stay unbeaten as they take on Penn State.

Thank you all for playing along this season. Remember to get your picks in Today as the first game starts Tonight at 7pm.
