BIG BIG10 Matchup - Maryland over Rutgers: ECD Pick'em Week 8

Hello and welcome to another week of the ECD Pick'em competition. Now we are really getting into the meat of the season as in conference play starts up and teams start to eye memorial day weekend.

The biggest matchup of the past weekend was the battle of the BIG10 undefeated teams. Rutgers made the trip down to Maryland to face the Terps and went home with a loss after an impressive fourth quarter run by UMD. In other BIG10 action Hopkins got back on track with a big win over Penn State and Ohio State took down Michigan in their rivalry game.

On the season Ayden and Kyle lead the pack at 91 picks correct. Very impressive. Like the idiot I am I forgot to fill my picks out for week 7 and have set myself back in the standings significantly. Remember to come back each week as we have season long prizes as well as weekly prizes! So if you are down a little bit on the leaderboard you can still go home with something cool if you post an impressive individual week.

This week the winner of the STX Cell V gloves is Mitchell for posting the best week and winning the tie breaking coin flip.

Looking at this week the games just keep getting better. Georgetown will play Denver on Tuesday night after a snow delay. I am taking Georgetown in what I consider an upset in this game. Then BIG10 play continues as we see Ohio State vs Maryland and Hopkins vs Rutgers. I'll be picking the hometown teams, Maryland and Hopkins, to take both of these matchups.
